Billabong week at Camp of Champions

The Billabong snow team made it up to Camp of Champions in Whistler, BC, Canada for their annual Billabong Week. Bode Merrill, Scot Brown, Garrett Warnick and the womens team all came together in a key location to snowboard for some summer shred. Warm weather, great features, insane after snow activities, high fives and smiles all around. Whistler is truly is one of the best places on earth.

From the moment the wheels of the plan touched down in Tahiti the waves have been pumping. As a result the boys are pulling 10 hour sessions on the regular, only leaving the lineup to eat snacks and drink fresh water.

Few waves are as good as J-Bay, even on its worst days. So, when the boys woke up this morning to see Supertubes producing consistent 3 - 5 foot waves, everyone was quick to wax up and get in the lineup.

Fresh off the plane. Full of jet lag. Boards freshly waxed and the boats pull up to 10 - 15 foot Teahupoo. Wake up time!

Day 1 at the J Bay Open

Upon waking up this morning we were greeted by picture perfect J-Bay: 5-6 foot lines, reeling from the top of the point down to the sunrise. Needless to say Taj and Joel were frothing and very excited to get in the water.
